The Bahia Príncipe Resort is formed by two excellent five-star hotels (Tulum & Akumal) with a total of 1,440 rooms.

The 630 rooms of the Gran Bahía Príncipe Akumal are distributed between 558 junior suites (with whirlpool bath) and 72 double rooms, all well equipped with five-star ammenities. The rooms are in three-story villas with 18 rooms each, very close to the beach, and most have a view of the sea. Double rooms have two single beds or a king-size, air conditioning, ceiling fan, full bathroom with hair dryer, satellite TV, direct telephone, safe, mini-bar and balcony or terrace. Junior suites have two single beds or a king-size, air conditioning, ceiling fan, full bathroom with hair dryer and hydromassage, satellite TV, direct telephone, safe, mini-bar and balcony or terrace.

The ALL INCLUSIVE system includes all meals, snacks, drinks, cocktails, towel services, sunshades and hammocks in the swimming-pool and beach areas. Also included is free entry and drinks in "La Rancherita" disco and special entertainment in several bars in the DOÑA ISABEL HACIENDA. Also available for guests are merengue and aerobics classes and countless sporting activities.
